The England Women’s Cricket Team will today attend a reception at 10 Downing St.
Captain Charlotte Edwards and her team will be hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown who will pay tribute to their three months of unprecedented international success: winning the ICC Women's World Cup, winning the ICC World Twenty20, a 4-0 win over Australia in the Natwest One-Day International Series and a draw in the one-off Test Match to retain the Ashes.
The England team will be 'accompanied' to 10 Downing Street by the ICC World Cup, the ICC World Twenty20 trophy, the NatWest ODI series trophy and the npower Ashes.
