PKRA the Globally Recognized Professional Kiteboarding Organization will once again bring back the new exciting race discipline to the international competition scene by hosting for the second consecutive year the Kiteboarding Course Racing World Tour.
The tour will take place in a minimum of 3 locations and a maximum of 6 locations in 2008 - Confirmed are Portugal, Canary Isles, and Germany - currently kicking off in the warm and welcoming city of Portimão. Racers from all over the world will once again congregate in this beautiful and perfect venue for what expects to be the toughest racing competition in the history of kiteboarding.
Intertwined with the Portimão Race World Tour, the Kite Masterscrown the genuine Freestyle Masters. competition will join the best 16 progressive freestyle riders of the world as well as the 4 major Portuguese riders, both male and female. As a true example of the Association of Tennis Professionals’ (ATP) Masters Cup, the Portimão Kite Masters competition is a unique and premium event. The competitors will face a battle within an original group’s format, established to be the most challenging competition to date.
