In the women’s division, local surfer Miluska Tello (PER) lived up to expectations and became the event champion and the 2014 ASP South America Pro Junior Series champion with two victories in three events.

"I think this was the most difficult Final I’ve ever competed in," claimed Miluska Tello. "Vania (Torres) and I both got high scores on our first waves, so it all came down to our back-up scores. I’m so happy with this victory and winning two events this year was the best thing that could have happened to me. Plus, I am very excited with the opportunity to compete at the ASP World Pro Junior event in Portugal."

In addition to Tello, Yanca Costa (BRA) will also be representing South America at the ASP World Pro Junior event in Ericeira, Portugal.
