Peru fans will be able to see the junior side compete in six competitions this year including the FIVB Volleyball Junior Women's World Championship in July
Lima, Peru, February 3, 2011 – Peru's junior women's team will tour Europe and Brazil ahead of the 2011 FIVB Women's Junior Volleyball World Championship, set to take place in the country from July 22-31.
The announcement came as the Peru Volleyball Federation (FPV) released the schedule for its junior, youth and senior teams for 2011 on Monday. The junior side can expect a busy year as they will also compete in the Internacional Cup and the Pan-American Cup, both taking place in Peru as well, and have a friendly against Cuba lined up during next month's Peru South Tour.
The senior squad will begin their season with the Latina Cup at home before moving onto the Pan-American Cup in Mexico while the youth team have three competitions in 2011 including the Internacional Cup in Peru, the Pan-American Cup in Mexico and the Youth South American Championships in Uruguay.
