The long wait for the Paralympics GB cyclists is finally over and today the team take to the track for the first day of action at the London velodrome.
Paralympic champion Sarah Storey will hope to lay down a marker in qualifying, before then hopefully going for Gold later on this evening in the 3km Individual Pursuit.
Lead coach for the team, Chris Furber said: "She's competed on the very biggest stage - the Commonwealth Games, the Para-cycling World Championships, the Paralympic Games and also able-bodied World Cups as well. She knows what it takes to win."

Sarah Storey ( http://cmp.dotmailer.co.uk/BM6-XO47-71OZY6-D0OH7-0/c.aspx ) established herself as a successful swimmer before entering the world of cycling. Her first Olympics as a swimmer was at the age of just 12, and from that she took home two golds, three silvers and a bronze medal.
During 2005, Sarah was forced out of the water due to a series of ear infections. Sarah did a large amount of her training on the bike that year, and showed her natural aptitude for the sport and decided to commit to full time cycling in 2005.
Today, Sarah will be going for Gold in the Women’s C5 3km Pursuit.
