Ochoa leads McDonald's LPGA Championship Presented by Coca-Cola
World number one takes one-stroke lead. Lorena Ochoa used a 7-under-par 65 in the second round of the McDonald's LPGA Championship Presented by Coca-Cola to take a one-stroke lead at 10-under-par (69-65=134). Ochoa was bogey-free on Friday with seven birdies including five putts inside three feet. The Rolex Rankings' number one started the day three shots off the pace of first-round leaders Emily Bastel and Lorie Kane, but quickly made up ground before closing her day with a 20-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole. The 26-year-old has six victories in nine starts this season and is seeking her third consecutive major championship.
