| New York Nemesis Move To Albany Albany, NY-The New York Nemesis of the National Women's Football Association, winners of the North East Division in 2008, announce that they are moving to the Albany, New York area for the 2009 season. Team owner Carley Pesente stated, "The move to the Albany area will allow the New York Nemesis to take advantage of their vocal, upstate fan base that supported the Nemesis in the 2008 season, and it will also allow the Nemesis to reach new recruiting areas of the New York State region and possibly having players from Canada come down to tryout for the team. The goal of the Nemesis is to do what is best for the Organization and allow the team to challenge for a Championship." The team will be announcing their tryout dates in the coming months.
