The final match of the NatWest Women's Series between England and India was abandoned after just four overs due to inclement weather at Hove today.
England won the five-match series 4-0 after wins at Bath, Taunton (2) and Arundel Castle. Katherine Brunt was awarded the NatWest Player of the Series for her consistent and economical bowling displays.
This is perfect preparation as the England team heads into their busiest ever twelve months with the ICC Women's World Cup in Australia in March and the ICC World Twenty20 in England in June followed by the Ashes.
