HTML clipboardFormer Netherlands Womens Hockey midfielder , the influential and charismatic Miek Van Geenhuizen signed up recently with the Den Haag based hockey Club , HDM (Haagsche Delftsche Mixed) , for the next two seasons to bring her experience to assist a young team but developing team. HTML clipboardMiek formerly played for the top Netherlands Hoofdklasse teams Orange Zwart , Den Bosch, Amsterdam and more recently Laren and has over 160 caps for the Netherlands. She was part of the Dutch team that beat Australia in the Samsung World Cup 2006, Madrid, and who conquered China to take Olympic gold 2008, Beijing.
