I cannot imagine Martina showing any of her fears on camera unless she is so scared she couldn't hide them.
The quote of the show came from Joe Swash when he asked Martina " So where do you come from"? she answered "The Czech Republic" he answered ", " Is that anywhere near Prague?"
I am sure it caused a giggle in many houses, but she was as cool as ever.
“Of course I’m competitive – nobody goes on the court saying ‘I want to lose’”. Ex-tennis champ Martina is in the jungle to win – and she has no time for whiners. Or ignorant people. Or those who don’t listen.
Martina’s friends describe her as “playful but reasonable” and she admits she’s more of a leader than a follower.
Although she has a pilot’s licence, Martina is petrified of heights. Having spent a long time in the bush, snakes don’t bother her, but she’s not so keen on anything poisonous. And as she’s never seen I’m A Celebrity…, she’s not quite sure what she’s letting herself in for.
