American Jessica Long broke the world record on her way to the gold medal in the 200m IND SM8.
Amanda Everlove from the USA claimed silver while Heather Freddriksen from Britain claimed bronze in a last second dash for the line.
Heather Frederiksen completed her set of medals by winning the bronze medal in the women's SM8 200m Individual Medley. After winning the gold medal in the 100m Backstroke yesterday, Frederiksen had a new found confidence going into this evening's final.
At the final turn Frederiksen was lying in sixth place and used her powerful freestyle to move her up into contention for the medals and she touched in 2:53.15 to take the bronze and her third medal in three races.
Jessica Long (USA) took the gold medal in a new world record time of 2:41.85, this completed her hat-trick of gold medals at this Games. The silver went to Amanda Everlove (USA) in a time of 2:50.51
