England & Great Britain international Anne Panter scored the only goal in their Cup Final showdown with Slough.
In what was a fairly even contest, an 11th minute penalty corner sealed the victory for the five-times Slazenger EHL champions. The ball was pushed out to the top of the circle and sent to Panter by the penalty spot and she made no mistake in firing home.
The England Hockey Men’s Cup final between Beeston and Bowdon begins at 6.30pm.
