The Australian Diamonds have made a winning start to the New Year, defeating England 58-52 in the opening match of the three-Test series at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
Goal keeper Sharni Layton was named Player of the Match after claiming a game-high six intercepts and five deflections.
The Diamonds travel to London for game two and three of the International Test Series on Friday 22 January 7.30pm CST and Sunday 24 January 6.30pm CST at The Copper Box, London.
