Yet again Laura Renwick is proving she is a force to be reckoned with winning many of the top competitions at the Palermo CSI 3* International Showjumping competition which took place in Sicily, Italy from 24
th to 26
th September.
Laura’s first win of the show was on the Friday in the 1.40m 5,000€ class where she rode Sandra Keaveney and Marian Renwick’s Beluga II. Laura then repeated her previous performance to take the top spot in the following 1.50m 20,000€ class riding David Perry’s Oz de Breve.
However it was on Sunday that Laura took the show by storm taking first and second in the 1.45m 20,000€ class riding Beluga II and Roller Coaster. Following on from that Laura then went on to finish second in the 90,000€ 1.60m Grand Prix class riding Oz de Breve taking 18,000€ second place prize fund.
Due to her overall success throughout the show Palermo awarded her the “Best Rider” award.
In recent years Laura has been concentrating on producing a string of young horses which she has brought up through the grades. She is currently one of British Showjumping’s leading riders as a result of her ongoing success across both the National and International competition circuit.
