This will be an interesting match that will face the World Ranking number 1 and World Champion Valeeva and the World Ranking number 3 and Olympic Champion Park, along with their respective teammates.

Korea opens the match on target 1 with 8-10-10 (28), and Italy to shoot 9-9-7 (25) on target 2. Korea goes on with 9-9-9 (55) and Italy takes its acts together with 10-10-9 to trail by 1 pt only (54). Wind just changed and Italy scored 8-10-9 (81). Korea shoots 10-10-8 to start the second end, while Italy scores 10-10-10! But Korea also knows how to shoot 10s, and they go with it too: 10-10-10! 113-111 for Korea. In the third end, Italians score 10-8-8 (137), as they leave the door opened to Koreans to increase their lead, with 9-9-9 (140), while Italians only score 9-9-8 (163). Koreans confirm their lead with 9-9-9 (167) with 4 pts lead. Valeeva opens last end with a 10, Tonetta follows with a X10 and Lionetti shoots 9 (192). Korea scores 9-9-9 (194). Italy closes the match with 9-9-10 to finish on a good note and 220 pts. On their side, Korea closes the match with 10-9-9 and wins the Gold Medal with a final score of 222-220. Italy takes then Silver Medal home!

Bronze Medal: Great Britain - China
China shoots first on target 2. Opening arrow for Zhang 9, 9 for Guo and 8 for Zhao (26). British start with 9-9-7 for Burgess (25) to trail by one point. China continues with 9-9-9, while Great-Britain scores 7-10 for Williamson and 9 to trail by 2 points with 51-53. GB shoots first the second end and scores 9-9-8 (77), and China scores a X10 death centre, followed by 7-6, which allows GB to take a 1 pt lead (77-76). British ladies do not want to let go this occasion and score 10, followed by 8-8 (103), leaving a chance to China to tie. However, China shoots a 7-9-8, trailing this time by 3 pts with 100-103 for Great-Britain. China starts the third end with 9-9-10 (128), and GB with 9-9-9 (130). Chinese close third end with 8-8-8 and British with 8-9-8 to keep their lead with 155-152. China begins to shoot in this last end with 9-7-10 (178) and GB with 9-9-7, with 2 pts advance (180). China has chances to come back in the match with 9-9-8, and Great-Britain shoke as they scored 9-8, but Burgess clinched the match with a 9 and a final score of 206-204!

France starts on target 2, opening with 10-9-7 (26). Greece starts off with 9-7-10 (26). France goes on with 9-9 and World Ranking number 2, Bouillot, shoots 8 (52). La Grèce tire 9-9-X10 pour prendre la tête avec 54 pts. France, encouraged by the crowd, opens the second end with 10-9-X10 (81). Greece shoots 10-9-9 (82). France continues with 9-9-9 (108), while Greece closes the second end with 9-8 for the young Ioannou and another 8 with a few seconds on the clock left (107). France takes the lead at this point by 1 pt. Greece shoots first the third end, as the pressure grows, scoring 8-8-8. France benefits from the situation to increase the lead with 8-9-10 (135) by 5 pts. Greece shoots 8-8-9 (156). France could take 10 pt lead in the next three arrows, but they score 7 for Trayan, 9 for Fabre and 10 pour Bouillot to lead 161-156. Last end in this match and Greece shoots 9-9-9 (183). France gets a yellow card as they crossed the line too soon, but it does not change anything to the result; they shoot 9-9-9 (188). Last three arrows for Greece: 9-9-6. France has all chances to win as they shot 10-9-9 to win Gold Medal at home! Final score: 216-207.

Bronze Medal: Russia - Iran
Iran opened the match with 8 pts, followed by two 9s (26). The Russians had a better start with 10-9-9 (28). The Iranians then scored three 9s (54). The Russians increased their advantage as they shot X10-9-10 (57). In the second end the Iranians shot a low 6 followed by 10-8 and 9-9-9 (105). After this, the Russians ensured their lead by shooting 9-X10-X10 and 10-X10-9 (116). In the third end, Iran shot X10-10-8 and 8-X10-X10 trying to come back (161), but the Russians were too strong with 9-X10-10 and 8-10-X10 (172). In this last end, Iran did all they could to finish on a good note, with 10-9-10 (190). Kazantseva, World Ranking number 9, shot an 8, but her teammates scored 9-10 to keep the lead (199). Iran finishes the match with 10-7, as there was only 15 seconds on the clock, and last arrow was a 9. Russia will close the match with 10-10 (Russia already won the match at this point) and a 9. Russia wins Bronze with a final score of 228-216.
