Looking at the last year’s event, the 2008 edition of the Offenburg World Cup has been characterized by a sunny day with Spring temperatures.

“Since the beginning of my career, I prefer long tracks which characterize the marathon competitions. With the Giant Italia Team we would like to get some important results also in Cross Country events and so we have planned my participation to the World Cup. In Offenburg I got a better result in confront of Houffalize’s competition. I’m satisfied about it but I’d like to improve my performance in Madrid” the Slovenian athlete has declared after the arrival. “Madrid’s track is not so technical. It is characterized by Uphills besides long downhills. I like this kind of track and I hope to get a good position, better than Offenburg one’s”.
A great audience was present along the track designed between the location of Offenburg and the Schwarzwald. More than 20.000 people seated along the snake pit, nearby the start-finish area
