Kansas City Storms Into Women's Football



The Storm is owned by Nancy Wernes. Wernes played tackle football for four years and is a lifelong athlete having played or coached volleyball, basketball, flag football, soccer, softball and golf. She has also coached several youth teams including basketball and softball. And, while she may be a "jock" she's also got an MBA in finance and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. She's been a Kansas City resident for more than 2o years.

"We are delighted to have someone with her on the field and off the field experience and look for great things from her team this coming season," states league CEO, Catherine Masters.
