Junior Round-Up:
First-Time Titles For Hungarian & Irish Junior Open Winners
The two Grand Prix events on the European Squash Federation Junior Circuit in November produced first time U19 titles for all four winners.
The women's event ended in a round-robin play-off for the top three places, with Hungarian Zsófia Marton losing to both Kerry Sample (England) and Sophie Yorke (Wales) before 18-year-old Sample, from Buckinghamshire, beat Yorke 11-3, 8-11, 11-1, 11-8 to claim the title.
In the IACT Irish Junior Open at the Galway Lawn Tennis Club in Galway, there was disappointment for Milou van der Heijden when the Netherlands 18-year-old missed out in the women's U19 final for the second year in a row. The second seed faced English favourite Millie Tomlinson - the Derbyshire 16-year-old justifying her top seeding by winning 11-7, 11-9, 5-11, 12-10.
