Jess is back on form in Manchester

Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill finishes third on her comeback in the 100m hurdles at the Great City Games in Manchester.

Jess Ennis Hill looked full of energy and positive attitude in her first race back in 2 years.

Ennis-Hill added: "It's really good to be back and I just feel like it's the start of it now so I'm really happy to be getting back into it.

"I'm always going to be disappointed because I know I'm capable of running a lot faster but I hit a hurdle and feel like I'm lacking race sharpness. So I'm just happy to come away from that and I can build on it now.

"It's really nice to be back and getting in the blocks again and having the crowd behind you with the big cheer so it was really nice on the start line and after as well."

For  her first  race back hurdler Colin Jackson was thrilled with Jess's performance and her mental positiveness, it won't be long before we hopefully see Jess performing at her full race potential.

She was competing for the first time in nearly two years following injuries, pregnancy and the arrival of her son, Reggie.

Tiffany Porter, who has run 34 of the 35 fastest 100m hurdles times by a Briton, won the race in a time of 12.86s
