Lausanne (SUI), June 18, 2007 – The Italian success in the women’s events was confirmed by the triumph of Francesca Dallape and Noemi Batki in the synchro 3m springboard. Overall, the athletes from China took four out of the eight gold medals at stake.
Amongst women, the Chinese were more discreet, with a single win by Jingzhen Cao in the 10m platform. Besides the two gold medals of Italy, divers from Australia, Canada and the USA secured podium positions in this leg of the Grand Prix.
The seventh and last meet of the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2007 will take place in Rostock (GER), from June 22-24.
