Karen Carney admits England's 2-0 win over Wales on Saturday was their toughest test this season.
After a frustrating first half, it took a Jordan Nobbs strike just after half-time to get the Lionesses noses in front.
Toni Duggan sealed the three points with a second to put England in charge of Group 6, and Carney believes their record this campaign is a perfect start to qualifying for Canada 2015.
"It was frustrating in the first half, if I'm honest," the Birmingham City winger told FATV. "Fair play to Wales, they put everyone behind the ball and everyone worked really hard to prevent us going forward.
"We were just waiting for the breakthrough to get us that goal, Jordan's fantastic strike. We were a bit more relaxed, the game opened up and we got even more possession. Toni finished it off.
"It was tough today, it was the toughest out of the three games. They are a good team with some good individual players, but eventually we broke them down and that was the main thing."
Carney added: "It's all you can ask for. We've scored 16, loads of different goal scorers, we've conceded none and have maximum points. There is nothing more we can do.
"Hopefully that will continue throughout the campaign. We're pleased so far, but at the same time, we're under no illusion that if we come up against better teams we are going to have to be a lot better than we have been."
And now Carney and her team-mates head to Turkey on Thursday looking to extend their 100 per cent start to the campaign.
However, she expects a different encounter to the one with the Turkish in Portsmouth last month when they won 8-0.
"No two games are the same," said the 26-year-old. "The heat will be a big thing, we'll have to move the ball as best we can and try to get an early goal if possible.
"The key word is patience, but if we go at them and be positive in our approach, then hopefully we should get the result we're after."
