- Reason(s) for taking up white collar boxing:
Mostly curiosity! I have always had a keen interest in boxing as a sport, especially women’s boxing and always been intrigued by women in the ring. I want to be that person in the ring this time! I’m still not sure whether it is scarier to be hit or to hit someone else – both haven’t been easy but I’m sure I will find out soon enough!
- What do you look forward to on the night of the 2nd October?
The support from my friends and giving them a big show down as best I know how to, following the 12 week of intensive training, on one of the biggest nights of my life!

· Reason(s) for taking up white collar boxing:
I have always been drawn to things that are movement oriented, challenging and I also want to be a positive role model (a strong female yet still be able to maintain femininity) for my daughter and the students I teach. I would like to see a change of thinking especially in Asia, such that females can do anything males can, if not better.
· What do you look forward to on the night of the 2nd October?
I am walking in to the ring on the 2nd October to take the risk of facing my fears. I believe anybody who takes that walk in to the ring is scared as hell and everybody who makes it to the ring is already a winner in my eyes. I have always believed that one will never achieve anything in life if they do not do at least one thing a day that scares you.
