Ice Hockey-University of Wisconsin Remains Unanimous No. 1 on USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll

 
 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Wisconsin remained No. 1 on this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women’s College Hockey Poll. For the second straight week, the Badgers were unanimously selected No. 1 with all 19 first-place votes, good for 190 points.

The University of Minnesota (165) remained in the No. 2 spot following a tie and loss at No. 1 Wisconsin, while Harvard University (152) held steady at No. 3. Boston College (111) jumped three spots to No. 4 and Dartmouth College came in at No. 5 with 99 points.

This week's action includes three top-10 match-ups, highlighted by a series between No. 1 University of Wisconsin and No. 7 University of Minnesota Duluth.

NOTES: A total of 16 teams received votes.

ABOUT THE POLL: The 12th annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women’s College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
