The win sees Bristol advance to the FA Cup final for the first ever time, as well as booking them a place in the UEFA Women's Champions League for next season.
First half goals from Jess Fishlock, Ann-Marie Heatherson and Helen Bleazard sealed a brilliant result for Academy and Sampson paid tribute to the whole of the club and it's supporters.
"Today is a result for the whole football club," he said. "Chief Exec, Chairman, all the staff, my players and our fantastic supporters. Everyone played their part in a day that can only be described as the best day in our clubs short history.
"The supporters were amazing; they got behind the team from the first whistle and didn't stop singing till the final kick and it made all the difference.
"Everyone who made the trip and got behind the team, know you played your part in us achieving our dream of an FA Cup final."
After a disappointing 4-0 defeat in their opening FA WSL game against Birmingham on Thursday, Sampson was delighted with his players' mentality in bouncing back.
"When you suffer a defeat like we did Thursday you can worry if the team have been affected psychologically," he added.
"But with this group of players I had no doubt we would show a big reaction today. We started the game with a strong mentality and after the early goal we went from strength to strength.
"I have never worked with such a fantastic group of players and have never been as proud of a group of people as I am today of this group."
