With Great Britain women currently in training for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, a number of matches have been arranged to aid their preparation and the two squads face a busy couple of months in the run up to August.

The women’s programme involves a number of training camps before travelling to Dublin where they will also take part in the Setanta Trophy between 11-15 June. They then travel to Amsterdam for a four nations tournament including India, South Africa and The Netherlands between 21-28 June before another series of training camps. They will take on Spain in Terrassa between 11-16 July.
The women’s squads for the Olympic Games will be announced by the British Olympic Association (BOA) on 24th June.
The women’s squad for the Setanta Trophy will be announced – subject to injuries – after their next training camp which takes place between 1-3 June.
