6000D trail running event – 27th & 28th July
Put your fitness to the test this July and join the 2,200 people taking part in the legendary 6000D mountain trail running event. The 63km race otherwise known as the giant’s race has over 4,000 metres of incline hills through the resort, with 95% of the trail on footpaths with some varied terrain through villages, apple orchards in the valley up to Bellecote glacier at 3,250meters altitude.
NEW FOR 2013, the race will detour through the Olympic Bobsleigh track for the first time making the course 3km longer. This famous track was built for the Albertville Olympic Games in 1992 which entails 19 bends and over 120 metres of an uphill climb to really get your heart racing.

Test your stamina and speed this summer by racing up the 1.5km Olympic bobsleigh track. Race against the clock over 120 metres of sheer inclines and extended bends up the steep concrete course. Whether you’re a keen runner or cyclist this is an opportunity not to be missed as there are a variety of categories to enter with FREE registration.
