The match is on May 26 and is GB’s fourth in the 2010 European Championships. Although they cannot qualify for the final stages, GB will be going all out to secure a victory which will gain revenge for the 30-20 loss they suffered in Austria last year.
Following that match, the team will travel south to take on former World Champions France in Lille in their final group match on Sunday, May 30.
The match in Glasgow will be a special one for GB captain Lynn McCafferty (pictured), who hails from nearby Cumbernauld.
Handball in Scotland is thriving and a bumper crowd is expected to attend the match. The main GB v Austria match starts at 7pm, but there will be pre-game entertainment from 4pm.
