24 year old Claressa Shield In her three years fighting as a pro in the ring, was undefeated. With a 9-0 record, six world titles in two weight divisions was up against Croatioan Ivana Habazin.

Shields won the 154-pound championship with a unanimous decision over overmatched Ivana Habazin on Friday 9th January at Ovation Hall Atlantic City.

“I am the greatest woman of all time ’cause she couldn’t do nothing with me,” Shields said. “Zero.”

Shields (10-0, 2 KOs) already won the middleweight and super middleweight crowns in her brief career and became the fastest fighter in boxing history — either male or female — to become a three-division world champion. That milestone is skewed a bit because women’s boxing doesn’t have the depth of talent or years of title fights as men, but it’s still one more achievement reached for the Flint, Michigan, fighter.

Matches like this are changing the sport of boxing for women on the international circuit opening up more chances for women to shine in the sport.

Ireland’s Katie Taylor was being lined up to become the first female boxer to headline at Madison Square Garden against Amanda Serrano in April but due to the Covid 19 outbreak the fight has been  postponed. "To all my fans that keep asking me - Yes, my May 2nd fight has been postponed, a new date to be announced soon," Serrano said on Twitter.

One of the main attractions in Atlantic City are the casinos and gambling, where people flock from all around the world to participate in the gambling of their choice from Slots, Black jack to gaming entertainment.  With many more choices out there in today’s society If anyone finds themselves in Atlantic City, don’t forget about being able to gamble online in New Jersey.

Shields won Olympic gold in 2012 in London and repeated the feat four years later in Rio de Janeiro. Against Habazin, she was never truly threatened and toyed with her for most of the 10 punishing rounds.
