Brianna Decker Named U.S. Player of the Game
KAMLOOPS, B.C.— The U.S. Women's National Team fell, 3-2, to rival Canada in the championship game of the 2014 Four Nations Cup. The teams traded goals through two periods and went scoreless in the third and overtime periods, forcing the three-aside shootout. Brianne Jenner's lone shootout goal proved to be the game winner for Canada.
Brianna Decker (Dousman, Wis.) was named U.S. player of the game, and Molly Schaus (Natick, Mass.) stopped 26 of 28 shots, finishing the game with a .929 save percentage.
