FINAL LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR THE INAUGURAL HSBC WOMEN'S CHAMPIONS
Champions reads like a who’s who of women’s golf. A stellar field, including the top 15 ranked players in the world, will compete over Singapore’s award winning Garden Course at the Tanah Merah Country Club from 28th February to 2nd March, 2008.
Joining a prestigious group of golfers including world number one Lorena Ochoa and World Golf Hall of Fame’s Se Ri Pak and Annika Sorenstam will be last month’s Australian Open winner Karrie Webb, Korean superstar Ji Yai Shin, and the LPGA’s 2007 Rolex Rookie of the Year Angela Park.
Dubbed as ‘Asia’s major’ fans will see the most impressive field of players ever assembled in the continent as 18 of the World’s top 20 will be competing. Representing 21 countries, the world’s top golfers have amassed over 440 tournament titles and each will be aiming to add the coveted ‘Champion of Champions’ title to their haul!
