Fiat Netball Superleague-Team Bath secure Glasgow win
TeamBath put their entire squad through its paces on a trip to Glasgow and gave Yasmin Parsons her FIAT Netball Superleague debut and came away with a comfortable win.
Bath who have ensured home-advantage in the 3rd v 4th place play-off against Surrey Storm are now very much focusing on defending their title yet again.
Wildcats remain without a win and it looks as though it will be a point-less season for the side as their final match is against the title chasing Northern Thunder.
But Glasgow head coach Denise Holland has praise for her side: “I was really pleased with the strong start and development through out the game giving opportunities to the entire squad.
“Looking forward to our last game of the season next week against Northern Thunder. We have learned and experienced so much this season which we will take into an international Test series against Sri Lanka.”
As for the Bath coach Jess Garland: “A good building performance despite being slow to start. To come away with a convincing scoreline whist having rotated the full squad and getting debutant Yasmin Parsons on court is really pleasing.
“It was a satisfactory end to a busy week in the TeamBath camp we look forward to the challenge of play-offs.”
