'Granite City Roller Girls' (GCRG) won 129 to 57 againt Perth's 'Fair City Rollers' (FCR).
The winter's "chilli" conditions have meant it's been some time since the Fair City Rollers league side have been in competitive action, but they're hopeful of a good result.

The team have been looking forward to taking on the Granite City Roller Girls since December, but their previously scheduled bout, Jingle Bell Block, had to be postponed due to the heavy snow.
The now Mexican-themed bout, entitled Taco Hell, will go ahead on Saturday — and both teams are hopeful that the only salt needed will be for the tequila at the afterparty, and not the roads.
Taking place at the Beach Leisure Centre, the bout begins at 2.30pm and tickets are available on the door priced £8, while advance tickets costing £7 can be bought from the Granite City Roller Girls website at www.granitecityrollergirls.org
Following on from the weekend's action, the Fair City Rollers will be recruiting new skaters and volunteers at their Fresh Meat night on Tuesday February 15. It takes place at Bell's Sports Centre from 7pm until 9pm and will offer newbies the chance to see what roller derby is all about.
