Number 3 seed and 2004 Wimbledon winner Maria Sharapova slipped and fell out on court 2 today to add to the number of top seeds that have been beaten or dropped out due to injury. Sharapova was beaten in straight sets by Portugal's M. Larcher De Brito 63 64.
