Ireland claims three points after strong performance

Ireland started strong into the match and earned the first penalty corner after only two minutes of play and kept the pressure high. Azerbaijan barely crossed the middle line in the first 15 minutes of the match. Ireland was the dominant team, but had trouble penetrating the circle against a strong defence. Symmons and Jacob had the chance to score, but could not get the ball over the line. read more
Belgium beats Italy and now needs only one point for the 5th place
In the first relegation match of the GANT EuroHockey Championships, the team from Belgium won 0:4 (0:2) against Italy. The Belgian women didn’t do much, but enough to control the outplayed Italians. read more
