The 2008 Women’s European Championship will take place in FYR Macedonia from 2 to 14 December 2008. The preliminary round will be played in the cities of Skopje (groups A and D) and Ohrid (groups B and C), with the main round in Skopje (groups C and D) and Ohrid (groups A and B) and the final weekend in Skopje.
Heads of Delegations Conference Representatives from the participating teams travelled to Skopje between the 3 to 5 October 2008 to take part in the EHF EURO 2008 “Heads of Delegations Conference”. In the first part of the conference, technical details and competition information was provided to the participants by the EHF. In the second part of the programme, the MKD OC gave an overview of what they have organised so far. They outlined procedures and answered questions with regards to hotels, transport, team guides and individual requirements of the respective delegations. On Sunday 5th October the MKD OC invited the participants on tours of the playing venues and hotels in both Skopje and Ohrid that will be used for the championship.
