Essex teenager Nicola Race has scored her second win on the US women’s college circuit.
The 19-year-old, whose home is in Witham, had a two-stroke victory in the UMHB Lady Cru Spring Invitational at Mill Creek Golf Club, Salado, Texas.
She’s a student at Redlands Community College, Oklahoma, and her play also helped her side to a runaway victory in the team event, beating their closest rivals by 12 shots.
Nicola is already the National Junior College Champion and will transfer to the University of Missouri in August.
Before Nicola started her university career she was a member at Chelmsford Golf Club and trained with the English Women’s Golf Association Select South East Squad.
