England U21 Womens Squad announced

The recent three match series at Highfields Sports Centre saw England record 3-0 and 2-0 victories over Germany and a 2-0 defeat and 13 of the players who participated in these matches have been selected for the Four Nations Tournament.

In the same Four Nations Invitational tournament last year, England U21s achieved 4-0 and 2-1 victories over Germany and the Netherlands respectively and a 3-3 draw against Spain.

The squad includes 8 players from the GB youth squad who won gold at the Australian Olympic Youth Festival in January this year and 5 players who recently won gold at the U18 Euro Nations in Edinburgh.

Head coach Martin Rogers commented "following a short programme this year we have brought together a group who have mixed experience from a player who only made her international debut last week to some players who have a great deal of experience at U21 international level.  The matches we will play in Valencia against Holland, Spain and Germany will be a good test for us”
