English champion Hannah Barwood and Curtis Cup players Liz Bennett and Jodi Ewart have been selected for England’s Nations Cup team at the Ladies’ British Open Amateur Championship at North Berwick from June 11-15.
Gloucestershire’s Hannah Barwood, 17, became one of the youngest winners of the English championship last week at Ganton. Hampshire’s Liz Bennett, 25, and Yorkshire’s Jodi Ewart, 20, are due to make their debut as Curtis Cup players in next week’s match at St Andrews.
The reserves are Lancashire’s Florentyna Parker, who was runner-up in the English championship, and Staffordshire’s Rachel Jennings, who is the French lady junior champion.
