England Golf teams selected for five events

The English Women’s Golf Association has announced team selections for five major events.  Players include new English champion Lucy Williams of Hertfordshire.

European ladies’ team championship at Murhof Golf Club, Austria, from 5-9 July 2011: Holly Clyburn (Woodhall Spa), Hayley Davis (Ferndown), Charlotte Ellis (Minchinhampton), Charley Hull (Woburn), Kelly Tidy (Royal Birkdale), Lucy Williams (Mid Herts). First reserve Hannah Burke (Mid-Herts), second reserve Hannah Barwood (Knowle).

European girls’ team championship at Is Molas Golf Club, Sardinia, Italy, from 5-9 July 2011: Heidi Baek (Felixstowe Ferry), Georgia Hall (Remedy Oak), Bronte Law (Bramhall), Elizabeth Mallett (Sutton Coldfield Ladies’), Emily Taylor (Royal Lytham & St Annes), Lauren Taylor (Woburn). First reserve Alex Peters (Notts Ladies), second reserve Brogan Townend (Pleasington)

International European ladies’ championship at Noordwijkse Golf Club, The Netherlands, from 20-23 July 2011: Charlotte Ellis (Minchinhampton), Lucy Williams (Mid-Herts).

European Young Masters at Royal Balaton Golf Club, Hungary, from 21-23 July 2011: Amber Ratcliffe (Royal Cromer), Olivia Winning (Rotherham)
               
Girls’ Home International Matches at Gullane Golf Club (No 1 Course), Scotland, from 3-5 August 2011: Heidi Baek (Felixstowe Ferry), Hayley Davis (Ferndown), Georgia Hall (Remedy Oak),  Bronte Law (Bramhall), Elizabeth Mallett (Sutton Coldfield Ladies’),  Alexandra Peters (Notts Ladies’),  Emily Taylor (Royal Lytham & St Annes), Lauren Taylor (Woburn). Reserves: Brogan Townend (Pleasington), Meghan MacLaren (Wellingborough), Sophie Godley (Lindrick).
