Leicester and England #12 , midfielder Chloe Rogers shares her thoughts on her latest international bronze medal which she adds to her collection of the honours she has won in the seven years she has been a regular pillar of the Senior England and GB squads.

Chloe’s club team Leicester are current EH Prem champions and provided an impressive six players in the recent bronze winning FIH BDO World Cup squad at Rosario, Argentina. Chloe’s medal haul now includes the World Cup bronze, bronze from the recent World Champions Trophy at Nottingham and three European ones. She has 82 England caps and 40 for GB, and is keen to add an Olympic medal to the collection as are all her team mates.
On the strength of ever improving performances, culminating in the squad’s trophy bronze, only the second time our national squad has reached that level, and now crowned with the first ever bronze in a World Cup for the nation, both the up and coming Commonwealth games and the 2012 Olympics hold a real prospect of them stepping up onto the podium at both tournaments.
