Ireland lifted their first Six Nations trophy in stunning style last year - achieving the Grand Slam and ending England's seven-year winning streak in the competition.
And their first step in retaining the trophy will come against Scotland, who they saw off with a convincing 30-3 win in 2013's instalment.
Doyle's starting XV will include debutant Hannah Casey on the wing, while fellow uncapped players Kerri-Ann Craddock and Orla Fitzsimmons make the bench.
Established stars such as captain Fiona Coghlan, Nora Stapleton and Alison Miller will all appear however and Doyle has urged his side to post a repeat of last year's display against the Scots.
"We had a good win against the Scots last year but we will need to put in a similar performance this time round to we get a positive result," said Doyle.
"It is great to be starting off the campaign in Ashbourne and hopefully we can deliver a strong performance."
