BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, ENGLAND The Ladies European Tour is delighted to announce that Deporte & Business will organise the 2009 Tenerife Ladies Open, which will take place at Golf Costa Adeje, from September 24-27.
The company, which also organises the Comunitat Valenciana European Nations Cup and the Open de Espana Femenino, has been selected by Turismo de Tenerife.
Antje Groch, International Marketing and Promotions Director of Turismo de Tenerife, commented: "With the election of Deporte and Business we want to give some fresh air to our tournament. We look for a more fluid and global communication, and we think D&B is the perfect partner to reach our goals."
The Tenerife Ladies Open has featured on the LET calendar since 2002 and has produced seven different champions over seven years.
Iñigo Aramburu, general manager of Deporte & Business, was extremely excited to be organising the eighth staging of the event.
"Organising such a successful and rooted event as the Tenerife Ladies Open is something that makes us extremely proud, but above all, it is a tremendous responsibility for our team,” he said.
“The bar is high, but we will work hard demonstrate to everyone, golfer or non-golfer, that Tenerife is one of the best places to travel on holiday. The Tenerife Ladies Open will showcase the island to a worldwide audience.”
