Delia Canters To Wah Cantt Success In Pakistan

RESULTS: Women's POF WISPA Wah Cantt Squash Open, Wah Cantt, Pakistan

[1] Delia Arnold (MAS) bt [2] Lim Yoke Wah (MAS) 9-6, 9-4, 9-4

Malaysia's Delia Arnold recorded her second WISPA World Tour squash title of the year when she beat compatriot Lim Yoke Wah in the final of the POF WISPA Wah Cantt Open at the Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in the Punjab city of Wah Cantt in Pakistan.

It was the second year in a row that the previous year's runner-up claimed the trophy!

Arnold, the 21-year-old top seed from Kuala Lumpur, reached the final without dropping a game.

In the semi-final in the bottom half of the draw, second seed Lim Yoke Wah was stretched to five games before beating local hero Maria Toor Pakay, the Pakistan national champion.

But Arnold was too strong in the final, triumphing 9-6, 9-4, 9-4 to become the second Malaysian to win the Pakistan title, after Sharon Wee in 2006.
