Cyclones Bring Final Playoff Win Home To Houston!
With the LA Amazons taking an early 7 point lead, the Cyclones step their game putting up 7 points in the 1st QTR thus, making the score 7-7. The Cyclone defense held the LA Amazon to a scoreless 2nd QTR. The Cyclone Offense, on the other hand, put up 14 more points leaving the score 21-7 for Half-Time.
The LA Amazons quickly respond after Half-Time with a quick score of 7 points making the score 14-21 at the end of the 3rd Qtr. Down one touchdown in the 4th QTR, the LA Amazons could not stop #33 Raasin on a 72 Yd Kick-Off Return for 6 more Cyclone points and with #1 Nicole Morris' extra point...now making the score 28-14 early in the 4th Qtr. Now with bad weather in effect with heavy rains, the Cyclones cause LA to turn over the ball with 3 minutes left on the clock and with the rain a pouring #33 Raasin McIntosh was a SCORING - another Cyclone Touchdown for 6 more points.
