In the womens ranking Charlotte Consorti (FRA) is ahead of Sjoukje Bredenkamp (RSA) and Katja Roose (NED). The final decision about the 2008 world champions will be made in Luederitz, Namibia during this years kitespeed record attempt.
We are happy to announce that the final ranking of the Luderitz Speedsailing World Record Attempt, taking place from the 15th of September till 13th of October, will count towards the PKRA Speed overall ranking. Thus the 2008 world champion will be crowned this year during this special event, in the best conditions and the highest speeds. The average of the two fastest speeds will count for the event ranking, whenever they are set on the 4 week record attempt period. More details will be published shortly.
