With the deadline for the final squad changes in this year's Co-operative
Netball Superleague now set for 5.00pm, several franchises have already
taken the opportunity to strengthen their line ups as competition for play
off places hots up.

Last season's defeated Grand Finallists, Mavericks, welcome back two more
of their international stars this week, as shooter Louisa Brownfield and
centre courter Karen Atkinson return after England's recent World
Championships campaign. As a result, Lynsey Press, who started the season
with Mavericks, moves across London to strengthen the shooting line up at
Brunel Hurricanes.
Another member of England's World Championships squad, Sara Bayman,
returns to strengthen TeamBath's line up as the reigning champions aim to
close the gap on the top two sides, Team Northumbria and Loughborough
Lightning.

All further changes to this season's squads must be made by 5.00pm on
Tuesday 29 January, after which time no other additions can be made. And
with several members of the England squad being targetted by sides in the
ANZ Championships in Australia and New Zealand, which starts in May, it
seems likely that further changes will be made to line ups before the
deadline is up, to allow players to participate in pre-season training
with their new teams.
