CHN – Miao named MVP as North beat South in WCBA All Star
BEIJING (WCBA) - Olympian Lijie Miao bagged her third WCBA All-Star MVP as the North Stars defeated the South Stars 92-88 in WCBA 2011 All-Star game in Zhejiang on Saturday.
Miao (pictured) scored 18 points and handed out five assists in the North's winning cause.
Nan Chen had 12 points and six rebounds for the South. Shi Tong added 11 points.
Before the game, the All Star players paid a special visit to a local primary school in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province.
The WCBA stars took to the campus and were greeted by a crowd of students.
The players donated LED TVs, basketballs, and All-star game tickets to the school on behalf of the Chinese Basketball Association.
