China’s divers continue their dominance in Penza (RUS)
Young Chinese divers occupied the majority of the podiums yet again in the second stage of the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2011, taking place in Penza (RUS) from February 25-27. One Womens title escaped Chinese hands in favour of Russia; the women’s 10m platform captured by Natalia Goncharova.
The Chinese female victories went to Han Wang (women’s 3m springboard and the same synchro event with Quilin Zheng) and Huixia Liu pairing with Jiaming Zhu in the 10m platform synchro.
Other countries to win a medal in Penza included Australia, Canada, Great Britain and Mexico.
