Cheshire Women's CCC summer training squad announced

Cheshire Women's County Cricket Club have announced a squad of 25 who are invited to their summer training sessions. The team for County Championship and Twenty20 matches is expected to be selected from this squad, which includes 10 uncapped players.

The new faces are Ellie Barker, Ellie Barnett, Jemma Bentley, Sophie Connor, Jen Regan and Lauren O'Reilly from Cheshire's junior ranks; Nathalie Long, Mary Priestner and Coral Murphy who have all caught the eye in Cheshire League matches; and Appleton's new acquisition Raffaella Rodighiero.

First Championship match is against Essex at Warrington on Sunday May 29. More immediately, a team will travel to take on Staffordshire in a friendly at Oakamoor CC on Good Friday.
