After making her competitive international bow in Sri Lanka in recent days, Cheshire captain and wicketkeeper Lauren Griffiths has today been named in a 15-strong party to tour Australia in January.
Long-time England ‘keeper Sarah Taylor is once again not making the trip. England’s international programme commences on January 5 with the first of a best-of-three one day international series.
The best-of-five Twenty20 series commences on January 12, with Sky Sports to screen the first two matches in this series live. These two matches – at the Adelaide Oval and MCG respectively – will be played as double-headers with England-Australia men’s T20 clashes. The tour concludes with a one-off Ashes Test starting January 22
